KALBAR SUNFLOWER FESTIVAL


I’m very excited to share that this year I’ll be working with the Kalbar Sunflower Festival alongside the wonderful team at Northview Highlands.

If you’ve ever been to the festival, you already know how beautiful it is. Fields of bright sunflowers, country air, and a relaxed day out in the Scenic Rim.

This year we’re adding something extra special.

I’ll be offering photo sessions with the gorgeous Highland cows and fluffy Valais sheep from Northview Highlands, right there amongst the sunflowers. It’s a pretty magical combination. Big gentle cows, sweet little sheep, and a sea of yellow blooms all around you.


These sessions will be a fun and relaxed way to capture something a little different. Perfect for families, couples, or anyone who simply loves animals and beautiful scenery.

All ticketing and photo session bookings will be handled through the Kalbar Sunflower Festival website. Tickets will be released soon, and if previous years are anything to go by, they will sell out quickly.

CABIN SESSIONS

I’m very excited to share that the Cabin Sessions will be returning in 2026.

These sessions have become a bit of a favourite, and it’s easy to see why. They take place at the beautiful rustic Rangeview Hut out in Fernvale. It’s full of character, surrounded by peaceful country scenery, and has that warm, nostalgic feel that makes photos extra special.

The Cabin Sessions will now become an annual offering, but there’s a catch. To keep the experience relaxed and special, there will only be three sessions available each year.

These sessions are perfect for families or couples who love a cosy, country setting. Think relaxed moments on the cabin steps, cuddles on the verandah, and beautiful natural light all around.

Because there are only three spots available, they do tend to go quickly once bookings open.

If you’ve been dreaming of a session somewhere a little different, the Cabin Sessions might be just the thing. Keep an eye on my page for booking announcements for the 2026 release.

Scenic rim farm gate trail

The Scenic Rim Farm Gate Trail is happening on 29 March and 26 July, and it’s always a fantastic day out for the whole family. I’ll be at Northview Highlands capturing beautiful moments as visitors meet and interact with the gorgeous Highland cows and fluffy Valais sheep. Come out for a relaxed country day, meet the animals, and enjoy everything the Scenic Rim has to offer.

Something very cute is hopping into April… and it’s perfect for little kids. 

I’m planning a set of very special Easter Mini Sessions out on a beautiful farm, with some fluffy little surprises the kids are going to absolutely adore. Keep an eye on this page for the full reveal soon. Spots will be very limited.


Scenic rim - eat local month

Join us this June for the Scenic Rim Eat Local Month at Northview Highlands. Enjoy a relaxed picnic with food and drinks from amazing local producers, all set against a beautiful country backdrop. I will be there capturing the day, including special moments with the gorgeous Highland cows.
